HoodShare is a text, code, and media sharing tool with optional gated tiers on RobinHood Chain. This policy describes how we handle your data. We designed the service to minimize data collection.
Shared content is stored as plain text in our database, not encrypted at the application layer. Anyone with the share link can view it until it expires. Do not share secrets, credentials, or sensitive personal data through HoodShare.
HoodShare is a conduit for user-submitted content. We are not responsible for the contents of shared links. If you encounter illegal or inappropriate material, use the report mechanism on the share page so we can review and act accordingly.
We use infrastructure providers including Vercel (hosting), Upstash/Redis (share storage), UploadThing (media uploads), and an RPC provider for RobinHood Chain balance checks. These providers may process IP addresses and request metadata as part of normal operation.
Shares are automatically removed when they expire, based on the TTL you selected at creation (1 day to 90 days). Operational logs and rate-limit counters are short-lived. We reserve the right to remove content earlier if it violates our terms or applicable law.
We take reasonable measures to safeguard stored content, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest on our storage provider. However, no system is perfectly secure, and content is not end-to-end encrypted. Do not share secrets, private keys, or sensitive credentials.
